Wow, it has definetly been a busy month! I almost forgot to post anything on Sophie's 7 month!! And we're already 1/2 way through it! She is still such a good baby! I just can't believe how fast she's growing. I swear this kid does something new every day! Here is a list of her 7 month updates!
She has already cut her 2 bottom teeth, and is now working on the 2 top ones! She wants to chew, drool, slobber on EVERYTHING. lol. She continues to love her baby foods that I am still making myself. She loves squash, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, peas, and every fruit we've given her from applesauce all the way up to mango and watermelon! The only foods she doesn't care for so far are green beans and avacado. Literally make the poor baby gag! lol.
She isn't quite crawling yet, although she does try. She doesn't always protest as much when I put her on her belly, or when she falls onto her belly herself from her sitting up position. She just can't quite figure out what's shes supposed to do once she's there. She is however trying to pull herself up on things while in the sitting postion. Help me! I think this child is going to walk before she ever learns to crawl! She is also doing finger foods along with her baby food. So far, we've done Gerber Puffs in vanilla, blueberry and peach. She loves them and will protest if you do not get them to her fast enough! We're working on "one at a time!" but they're just so yummy, we think we need 3 in the mouth at once! She also has some maple cinnamon puffs that kind of look like cheetos, and waggon wheel puffs that taste like banana cream and apple cinnamon. She's getting so big :(

I think she's going to be like me, where most hats look adorable on her ;)
This is what I call her sassy pants face! She scrunches her nose and bares her teeth, but giggles at the same time lol. See those lil teefers??!
Now, the pictures below are her 7 month pictures. We used the same photographer that we have been using b/c we absolutely love her! She does such great poses for Sophie and is great with her!
yes, my baby is STANDING by herself in this picture. Mommy had to be photoshopped out b/c I'm paranoid and standing pretty much on top of the pot waiting to grab her if she should fall!

And lastly, it's not all about baby around here lol, although pretty close ;)
I get to brag on her daddy for a minute! After 4 long years, Ibou is now finally a US Citizen!! We applied for his citizenship back in May, and he had his final interview and test in mid July and was approved! They held a ceremony for him at the end of July where him and 45 others were granted and welcomed as US Citizens!! I am so proud of him! More pictures of that event will follow since a friend of mine came and took pictures of it during the ceremony! Also, to brag a bit more, he made the Dean's List at school this term! He's just on a roll!! Fingers crossed we keep going on this streak of luck! We're also looking for a house right now, so more prayers that we find the perfect house for us!
