Oh My Word, my baby is 6 months old!

Seriously, my baby is 6 months old :( Where did the time go?? She's still a little peanut, but she is growing so much every day. I just can't believe it. We had her 6 month check up the other day, and here is how she is measuring in: 14lbs 4oz, 25 inches long, and sitting right where she should be. She is hitting all the milestones that she should: sitting up, holding objects, reaching for objects, rolling over, eating baby food and taking a sippy cup, etc. I just can't believe it when I sit here and think about everything she is doing! It's crazy!

This is at her dr's appt last week. Her hair is just long enough now for piggy tails!! I love it!!
This is our 2nd attempt at the pool. The water was WAAAAAY too cold the first time. She LOVED being in the water! Aunt Kim had this tube in her car, so she blew it up and I popped her in it and she was having a blast. She didn't even want to get out and cried when I took her swim suit off lol.
This was from our 1st attempt, but I wanted to show off her swim suit lol.
My baby's first 4th of July. It was sooooo hot outside, so we spent the majority of the time inside at the family picnic and then when the fireworks started, we ended up back inside. It was just too loud and it scared her.
Along with making my own baby food, I have found that one of the best ways to introduce a new fruit to her is to give it to her in her mesh teether. She loves this thing and loves fruit so far. She hasn't found one yet that she doesn't like. We've tried mango, banana, canteloupe, watermelon, peaches, pears and today: kiwi.  I'm so happy she loves her fruit! Now veggies are another story. She likes sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, sweet peas and carrots. Not a huge fan of squash and gags on green beans lol.
Pretty toes!!
Not a huge fan of being on her tummy, but if I can distract her long enough with a toy, she'll stay like this for a little while. She really isn't that interested in crawling yet, which is OK with me, but I have a feeling she is going to walk before crawling anyways. She always wants to be standing, but luckily hasn't tried to pull herself up yet.

Awe, look at my baby girl's sweet smile! Next time we get a pic like this, there will be teeth! I just spotted her 2 bottom ones trying to sprout through tonight! She has just been miserable for about a week now and I just couldn't figure out why, but tonight I happened to see while she was crying, the tops of the two teeth stickup up through the gums. Poor kiddo. Hopefully they'll get through and she can have a little break before the next ones start coming in.
I'll update more pictures soon.
