It wouldn't let me add these videos to my last post, so I created a new post! I love watching these little clips, but not near as much as I love watching her in person :) Hope you enjoy as much as I do :)

What else can I put in my mouth???
Sophie has officially learned how to stick things into her mouth! LOL. It started one day with her fist, which was hilarious to watch on it's own. She studied her little fist very hard before you could see the wheels in her little mind connect that it would be a good idea to stick that in her mouth lol. From there, she has started to put her fingers, and sadly her thumb. Her thumb is one that I try very hard to keep out of her mouth, offering other baby toys or even her paci instead, but in the end, she usually gets her way lol.
Because she has been chewing on everything in sight, I thought now would be a good time to bring out her "Sophie the Giraffe" toy. I thought long and hard before she was born about buying this giraffe. It's kind of expensive and I wanted to make sure it was worth the money before buying it, so I asked around to other moms I knew that had one for their kids. Of course the initial appeal to me was that it was called "Sophie" and that it was a giraffe-which is my favorite animal lol. But, every mom I talked to raved about how their kids loved it and how great it was, so I bit the bullet and bought it. Let me just say, I'm glad I did.
She LOVES her Sophie! She chews and drools all over it!
Here's one picture of her with it, munching away!
Below is just one short video of her enjoying it. As soon as I can get the other longer video uploaded, I will. The other video is more fun in my opinion because not only has she started chewing on things, but she has discovered her voice on another level lol. She screams/talks to me all the time now. And she looks sooooo serious doing it!! Then she will giggle and start all over again.

It is so much fun to watch her grow and see all the changes she is making. I can't believe she's already going to be 4 months in 2 weeks :( Where is the time going? She's almost got rolling over mastered, she gets just about there, but can't seem to figure out how to get her arm out of the way to get the rest of the way over. Most of the time she already rolls from her belly to her back and it's funny to see the look she gets on her face that just kind of says, "whoa, how did I get here??" She loves to stand while you hold her up and prefers to be sitting up rather than laying down. Actually she gets almost angry if she is laying down, unless she's tired. lol. She also loves to play in her bouncer too! We have to stuff a couple of blankets down around her and put a small box under her feet, but boy does she love to bounce! I will try and post a video of that sometime here in the future too!

Happy Easter!
Holidays are so much more fun with a little one around! Sophie's first Easter was the first holiday we really got in to so far. We dressed up for Valentine's Day and St. Patty's Day, but Easter was our first real holiday with family and such.
When we woke up Sunday morning, she had on her "My First Easter" onesie and we went out and discovered that the Easter Bunny had visited! In Sophie's basket was a small Easter Bunny just for her, an Easter book, bubbles, a new hat with ears and a swim suit for the summer!
She LOVES her bunny and wasted no time on giving it kisses! ;)
Here's a better look at her book, bunny and swim suit.
Then it was time to get dressed up in our finest and head off to Great Gramma and Grampa's house! My Grandma had given Sophie that dress, so I wanted to make sure she saw her in it before Sophie tried to devour the adorable flower on the front lol. And believe me, she tried lol.
Look at that beautiful face! She looked like an adorable Easter Egg after we changed outfits!
Gramma and Grampa had a basket waiting for Sophie at their house too! It was filled with lots of cute outfits and formula! Thanks Gramma and Grampa!
Everyone loved her basket so much and she is just so stinking cute, we had to have a photo...ok lots of photos of her! I put her in her basket and took her out to the yard and her daddy took the best picture of her ever!! How cute is she in this basket with eggs?? I was crouched off to the side getting that gorgeous smile out of her!
And what Easter holiday wouldn't be complete without a trip to the Easter Bunny??? She was such a big girl and didn't even cry! The bunny is a bit of a creeper looking thing, but you can't even tell b/c you are so busy looking at the beautiful baby in it's arms! :)
